in the Lienzer Dolomites
One of the highlights awaiting you in the immediate surroundings of our hotel are bike tours with our own bikes or modern rented electric bikes, starting directly from the Dolomitengolf Suites. The Drau cycle path, one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Europe, and the Isel cycle path are especially suitable for family trips, since they are easy to cycle and picturesque. A paradise for mountain bikers... The Lienzer Dolomites feature more than 40 challenging mountain bike trails, leading through three of the surrounding mountain ranges.

“Osttirodler” in Lienz
The alpine coaster, one of the longest and most spectacular alpine summer toboggan runs in the world, guarantees pure adrenalin. Glide on sledges through the impressive natural surroundings into the valley. A ride with fast-paced curves, an unforgettable adventure for all ages and a safe feeling thanks to individual speed control with handbrake levers. The ride with the “Osttirodler” is simply breathtaking. From a scenic point of view this is especially due to the sensational panoramic outlook on Bruck Castle and the Lienzer valley floor.
Outdoor adventure
water sports
East Tyrol is the perfect place to be for all outdoor lovers. Water sports enthusiasts can go white-water rafting on the river Isel in canoes or rafting boats until autumn. The largest meltwater river in the Alps, fed by a glacier, features both calmer sections for beginners and turbulent waters with impressive waves for advanced rafters. Canyoning is a synonym of adrenaline: cross waterfalls and try out rappelling from rock gullies under the professional supervision of qualified tour guides.
Hiking adventures
Leisure, relaxation, unwinding... If this is why you came to East Tyrol, you will definitely not be disappointed – on the contrary. Look forward to hiking in untouched mountain landscapes with more than 200 cabins and mountain inns. Tourists will be able to choose between many different hiking trails in the Lienzer Dolomites. Looking for a hidden gem? Try the “Rudl-Eller Weg” from the “Dolomitenhütte” to the “Karlsbaderhütte” or consider hiking to the lake formation “Neualplseen” at 2.436 m.
